Tetman Callis lives in Chicago, within a gull’s cry of a great lake.
He writes. He has two published books, and his stories and poems have been published in numerous literary magazines.
He photographs. His work has been exhibited in galleries in New Mexico and New York City, and is in private collections.
He also has been a painter, collagist, radio performer, and stage actor.
And he reads and shares from what he reads. Read a book. Read many books. Read magazines, too. Read as many books and magazines as you can. Think about what you have read. Talk with people about what you have read. Almost without intending to, you will find you are making the world a better place.

Dear Tetman,
Would you ever be willing/interested in publishing the Gordon Lish Notes in print? I am running a micro/small press and new print-only lit journal inspired by Lish, The Quarterly, NOON, New York Tyrant. Weirdly, finding these notes in 2012 acted as an alternative to the MFA education I received. So I am very indebted to you for taking these notes and sharing them with the world.
This is just an idea, figured I’d reach out and at least start a dialogue.
