I think we’d find a way to make ourselves miserable enough to provide a reason for questioning the meaning of life.
I’m trying to write a synopsis. That’s reason enough right there.

You have my sympathy. I do not like writing synopses. The best synopsis I can can ever come up with is, “Just read the damn book.” That is deemed wildly insufficient in publishing circles.
